Overview
The Flex Aide is a valuable member of our Women s Residential Services team who provides care to clients under the direct supervision of a Lead Counselor or Counselor, recognizing the physical aspects of chemical dependency. Provides program support services as assigned by the Program Coordinators.
Responsibilities- Assist the staff in direct client care and admission processes.
- Supervise food preparation and serving, as well as daily temperature logs.
- Assist clients with chores, stocking, drop-offs, and phone calls.
- Transport in a van, accompany and supervise clients during laboratory procedures, and other medical and/or dental appointments.
- Store food, linens, and supplies when delivered, check related invoices, and maintain inventory of these items.
- Check in visitors, monitor client visits with family/loved ones, and serve as staff on duty for client needs.
- Answer telephone and document intake information.
- Maintain awareness of and professional involvement with community resources.
- Respond to inquiries, provide appropriate information and referrals, and document when necessary.
Schedule:
Flexible
- 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- Flex employees must work a minimum of 80 hours per calendar year; and be available to work one fixed or floating holiday each year, if needed.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate; one year experience in direct patient care preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver s license.
- Meets internal and external customers’ needs and provides resources that can be made available.

- Manages change-related stress well; deals effectively with varying people and situations.
- Cooperates with others to accomplish common goals.
