A Clinical Support Tech I (Full time) needed for Hematology/Oncology Acute Care Unit - 4 Oncology.
It is required to have a Nursing Assistant I Certification for this role.
The schedule for this position is Full Time Rotating, 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM, 3 shifts per week.
This position is a dual role including Nursing Assistant (NA) and Health Unit Coordinator job related duties.
This is a 53 bed inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit. We care for solid tumor and hematologic malignancy patients including the management of transfusions, antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy/ biotherapy and end of life care.

SummaryResponsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms and performing a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance of the patient care unit desk area functions.
ResponsibilitiesProvides administrative and clerical support including PI audits and data entry.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Service
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience not required.
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English language.
- Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.
