Position SummaryThe UNC School of Medicine IT Web Services team is seeking a Web Developer/Designer with Word Press experience. This role designs, builds, and maintains School of Medicine websites in a large Word Press multisite environment. The position combines front end development and visual design to ensure websites are modern, accessible, secure, and consistent with institutional branding. The Web Developer/Designer works closely with IT staff and departmental website administrators to deliver reliable, high quality web solutions that support the School of Medicine’s mission.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements- Graduation from high school and one year in the field of technology related to the position’s role.
- Computer coursework may be substituted year‑for‑year for the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Journey level requires an additional six months experience
- Advanced level requires an additional one year of experience.
- Experience using software‑based phone systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills,
- IT support experience in mixed environments, including Mac and Windows
