Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist

Presence, a digital marketing and web development agency, is seeking a Healthcare & Medical Services Specialist to support our healthcare and medical industry clients. In this remote North Carolina role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to help providers and organizations strengthen their online presence through data-informed digital strategies. You'll translate healthcare and medical services needs into actionable digital solutions, support content and campaigns, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and optimization of Presence's healthcare communication and productivity software for medical and clinical environments.
• Conduct remote onboarding, training, and support sessions for healthcare and medical services staff using Presence platforms.
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and internal product/engineering teams to understand workflows and translate them into effective digital processes.
• Gather and document user requirements, feedback, and pain points to inform product improvements and feature enhancements.
• Assist with configuration and customization of software workflows to align with organizational policies and clinical best practices.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to the platforms, escalating technical problems appropriately and ensuring timely resolution.
• Promote adherence to HIPAA, security, and privacy standards in all use of the software, and help clients understand compliance-related best practices.
• Analyze usage patterns and operational data to identify opportunities to improve care coordination, documentation, and communication efficiency.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, training materials, and user resources that support scalable adoption of Presence solutions.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to pilot and refine new digital tools and communication features for healthcare and medical services clients.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare and medical services workflows (inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory care)
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) or EMR systems
• Experience with telehealth platforms or virtual care tools
• Understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Ability to map and optimize clinical and administrative workflows using software tools
• Technical aptitude for learning and explaining Saa
• S or cloud-based applications
• Proficiency in remote communication and collaboration tools (video conferencing, chat, ticketing systems)
• Data interpretation skills for basic operational metrics and user adoption analytics
• Strong written and verbal communication tailored to clinical and non-technical audiences
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a software-supported environment
• Change management and user training skills within healthcare settings
