** Transportation Logistics Specialist
** to coordinate, monitor, and optimize domestic and international transportation activities. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving supply chain efficiency by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners to proactively manage shipments, resolve issues, and maintain accurate logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.##

## What You’ll Do
** Transportation Planning & Execution
*** Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes (TL, LTL, rail, ocean, and air freight).
* Schedule shipments and select carriers based on service requirements, cost, and performance.
* Monitor shipment status, proactively identify delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
** Carrier & Vendor Management
*** Communicate daily with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
* Track carrier performance, freight costs, and service levels to support continuous improvement.
* Support carrier onboarding, rate management, and contract compliance.
** Documentation & Compliance
*** Prepare, review, and maintain transportation documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, freight invoices, shipping reports).
* Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations and company policies.
* Support audits, claims management, and freight discrepancy resolution.
** Data Analysis & Reporting
*** Track key metrics such as transit times, freight spend, and delivery performance.
* Maintain accurate data within TMS, ERP systems, and internal databases.
* Generate reports and provide insights to support logistics planning and cost optimization.
** Cross-Functional Collaboration
*** Partner with Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance teams to align transportation plans.
* Support customer inquiries regarding shipment status and delivery timelines.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency.
** Process Improvement & Support
*** Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce transportation costs.
* Support logistics projects, system enhancements, and process documentation.
* Perform additional duties as needed to support supply chain operations.## ## What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
* 3–6+ years of experience in transportation logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.
* Experience working with domestic and/or international transportation providers required.
* Strong understanding of transportation modes, freight terms, and logistics operations.
* Experience with TMS and ERP systems preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
