Summary:

The Regional President is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational performance, financial success, and growth of a designated region within the healthcare system. This role oversees a portfolio of hospitals, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values while delivering exceptional patient care and achieving financial sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Region President:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive regional strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
* Identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives to expand the organization's footprint in the region.
* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all hospitals, within assigned region.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hospitals, within the region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Implement best practices and standardized processes to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring financial sustainability and resource allocation to support strategic goals.
* Monitor financial performance against budget targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining or improving quality of care.

Leading People:

* Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

* Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

* None required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

* Requires 12 years of progressively responsible hospital or multi-facility experience, including 10 years of leadership experience as a hospital or health system CEO.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

* Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory compliance, reimbursement models, and emerging trends.

* Strong grasp of hospital operations, including patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, supply chain management, and quality improvement initiatives.
