Us Sports to host and lead
Ameri Corps Coaches. These city-based coach positions will be focused on supporting our Community Partner programming as well as local Boys & Girls Clubs, Durham Public Schools, and our Youth Beginner Programs.

Service Term:September
2023 through May/August 2024 (flexible end date until spring/summer)

Living Allowance:All positions include a $4,500 Ameri Corps living allowance, $1,718.25 Ameri Corps Segal Education Award, and $150/month travel stipend from Triangle Ultimate to ensure all coaches receive aliving wage.

Hours:450 Total Hours, broken down to 6-25 hours per week with the expectation to increase hours in the summer season.

Location:West (Chapel Hill/ Durham) - 3 coaches will serve the west side of the Triangle in Chapel Hill & Durham.

East (Raleigh/ Morrisville) - 3 coaches will serve on the east side of the Triangle in Raleigh & Morrisville.

Training:Each coach will receive 35+ hours of Youth Based Sports Development Training from Up2

Us Sports in addition to regular Triangle Ultimate & USA Ultimate training opportunities.

Who Can Apply?

• Ameri Corps is open to U.S. citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent residents.
• Members must be at least 18 years old, or 17 with written consent.
• Members must have, or be working toward a High School diploma, GED, or its equivalent.
