Position SummaryTo coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner.
Position RequirementsFormal Education / Training:
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- For 3rd floor telemetry unit:
- Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- For float pool and float pool extended:
- Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire.
- For critical care:
- Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire.
- AACN, CCRN or CCP certification within two years of hire.
- For Oncology:
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire.
- For Adult Emergency Room:
- At least one year of emergency experience preferred.
- TNCC preferred.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire.
- For Pediatric Medical Surgical:
- At least one year of pediatric in‑hospital experience preferred.
- PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (8‑hour, non‑physical training) within 6 months of hire.
- For Pediatric Emergency Room:
- At least one year of pediatric emergency experience preferred.
PALS within 6 months of hire. - ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (8‑hour, non‑physical training) within 6 months of hire.
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire.
- At least one year of pediatric emergency experience preferred.
