Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinate patient care utilizing the nursing process, participate in patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Emphasize safety, patient assessment, care planning, and performance improvement activities.
Job Details- Schedule:
Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); at least 1 year of nursing experience. - Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing. - Additional Information:
Perform bedside point-of-care testing, participate in education programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Involves complex problem-solving, discharge planning, patient education, adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines. Prioritize patient needs, cultural sensitivity, and safety management.
