Position: Nursing Assistant I (Per Diem) - Geriatric, Crisis Stabilization and Perinatal Psychiatry Unit
UNC Health -  - Responsibilities:
Provide routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital, clinic or home health care setting under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician;
Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procurement of equipment and supplies during emergencies;
In the psychiatric setting, aid patients in reality orientation and participate in behavior modification plans/therapy, provide informal support therapy to patients/families, and de-escalate potentially aggressive patients;
Observe, collect, and document patient information and report significant changes to a registered nurse or physician;
Assist in admission, orientation, and discharge processes for patients and families
