Role: Support Nurse - LPN responsible for assisting nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation center.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with resident care, ensuring compliance with the Nursing Practice Act under RN supervision.
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff and monitor their performance.
- Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and record-keeping activities.
- Assist with assessments, admissions, and documentation, including MDS completion.
- Support emergency responses, including CPR, and notify physicians of patient changes.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team and assist with various duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma and valid North Carolina LPN license.
- CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
- Ability to make decisions, work under pressure, problem-solve, and follow policies and procedures.
- Physical ability to maneuver nursing equipment.
Additional Info: Must pass background checks, work in a drug-free environment, and adhere to all regulatory standards.
