The primary purpose of this Registered Nurse position is to provide nursing services with a focus on the care of participants who volunteer for clinical research studies conducted primarily in an ambulatory setting. The RN will provide specialized, professional nursing care to research subjects for healthy volunteers and to those with unusual and distinctive medical problems according to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and local and institutional polices.

The RN will support study implementation within the context of care delivery settings such as in the NC TraCS's Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) and UNC Medical Center as well as provide research on location services at UNC Health clinics and hospitals, and the Schools of UNC.
