This position will serve as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator within the department of Global Health and Infectious Diseases. This position independently coordinates and implements complex HIV
-related clinical trials, including prevention, treatment, and cure-focused protocols. The Nurse Coordinator ensures protocol integrity, participant safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality data collection while contributing to the unit’s research and clinical mission. This position has broad responsibility for the implementation of complex clinical trials. These trials include prevention, treatment and possible cure of HIV , as well as sexually transmitted diseases.

This includes novel treatment approaches for people with HIV , such as testing community-based delivery of HIV treatment.
The Nurse Consultant will utilize a broad knowledge of adult assessment and common health problems, HIV and other infectious diseases, medical ethics, Good Clinical Practice ( GCP ), as well as sponsor and study specific procedures and data collection.
