Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Transplant Clinic position requiring NC or compact RN licensure and at least one year of ambulatory nursing experience.

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Oncology infusion and/or outpatient transplant experience preferred

• Work in the Transplant Clinic on the 4th floor, covering heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas patients
• Includes infusion services on the 4th floor
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• No weekends, holidays, on-call, or overtime required
• Duties include medication administration, vaccines, triage, and infusion care
• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in an outpatient transplant clinic setting
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as part of the patient care plan
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and evaluate patient care
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Engage in performance improvement activities and utilize multidisciplinary resources
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
