Soc/Clin Research Specialist- DPOP (Thorpe Lab) Position Summary
The Research Assistant will support health services, pharmacoepidemiology, implementation, and medication-use research projects focused on improving care quality, medication safety, and outcomes among older adults and other clinically complex populations. The position will contribute to multiple stages of the research process, including literature review and evidence synthesis, study documentation, development of data-collection tools, data management and quality control, statistical or qualitative analysis, and preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, reports, presentations, and grant materials.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Qualifications- Coursework in public health, biomedical sciences, social science, or related field.
- Experience conducting literature reviews, synthesizing the peer-reviewed research, data analysis in Excel or similar program, and study design.
