The postdoctoral researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research in organic medicinal chemistry, with primary responsibility for designing and executing experiments aimed at the synthesis of biologically relevant molecules. This includes performing literature searches; maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory records, including electronic notebooks when required; preparing weekly research reports and other reports as assigned; adhering to and staying current with all laboratory safety protocols;
and contributing to the cleaning, organization, and maintenance of laboratory spaces and equipment. The postdoc will also actively participate in scientific group meetings, departmental seminars, and problem solving sessions, and will assist in the preparation, writing, and submission of research reports and publications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
PhD in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a related area
