Position Summary:

This position is for a research technician in the laboratory of Dr. Samir Kelada in the Department of Genetics in the UNC School of Medicine. The primary purpose of this position is to execute experiments using mouse and in vitro models of environmentally-induced respiratory disease, assist other lab members in conducting similar experiments, and to help manage the lab.

A large portion of effort will be dedicated to maintenance and expansion of mouse colonies, genotyping mice, exposing mice to air pollutants, and performing measurements of respiratory and immunological function after exposure.
