Position Summary:

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for a Ph.D. or equivalent level candidate at University of North Carolina, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and the Marsico Lung Institute. We are interested in quantitation and characterization of mucin macromolecules in health and diseases with mucus abnormalities such as COPD, asthma, CF. This study will employ a broad range of biochemical, biophysical, and proteomics characterization of mucins and their quantitation using light scattering and labeled mass spectrometry-based quantitation technologies.
