Position

Summary

This position will lead the development of a mental health system dynamics simulation model. The individual will work closely with faculty investigators and community partners to translate qualitative and quantitative data into a simulation model, conduct policy and scenario analyses, and communicate findings to diverse audiences. This position requires expertise in system dynamics modeling.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in system dynamics, public health, engineering, operations research, public policy, or a related field and demonstrated experience developing and analyzing simulation models; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications , Competencies, and Experience

- Demonstrated expertise in system dynamics simulation modeling.
- Proficiency with system dynamics software such as Stella Architect or Vensim.
- Experience conducting model calibration, validation, sensitivity analyses, and scenario testing.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications , Competencies, and Experience

- Experience applying system dynamics modeling to public health, healthcare delivery, behavioral health, or social systems.
- Experience integrating qualitative data, administrative data, survey data, and literature evidence into simulation models.
- Experience developing interactive simulation interfaces or decision-support dashboards.
- Peer-reviewed publications involving simulation modeling or systems science methods.
