Position Summary
Primary job duties include patient recruitment, communication with study participants, medical record abstraction (primarily Epic) into REDCap data collection forms, literature reviews, and other tasks as assigned. The position will also assist in manuscript preparation, with opportunities to be included as a co-author.
The position reports to the Project Manager, and meets regularly with the study team including PI, Data Scientist, Data Manager, and other Research Specialists.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Basic understanding of scientific methods or conduction of research studies
- Background in clinical research, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience working with medical records, in some capacity (Epic)
- Experience working independently
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
This position requires sitting and using a computer for extended periods of time. Duties to be performed with or without accommodation.
