Fuel Handling Maintenance Mechanic

a sign-on bonus of $4,944 is available for the successful applicant of this position paid in 2 installments within 12 months of hire: $2,472within 30 days of hire date & $2,472 12 months after hire date.

this position performs installation, operation, preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of equipment in the coal and ash area of cogeneration systems. Examples include, but is not limited to: rebuilding cylinders, replacing solenoid valves, aligning and checking tension on the old and new bags, draining and washing the tower, changing oil in fan gear boxes, rig and support with correct chains, cables and/or hoists, inspecting for coal leaks, flight conveyors, bucket elevator chains and welding.

this position must report to work during periods of adverse weather or other university emergency (emergency-duty position). Work schedule is monday - thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm.
