A sign-on bonus of $4,668 is available for the successful applicant of this position paid in two installments within 12 months of hire: $2,334 within 30 days of hire date and $2,334 12 months after hire date.

The duties and responsibilities of this plumber in Construction Services include reading and interpreting blueprints, using plumbing tools and equipment to perform maintenance of pumps, pipe fittings, and HVAC installations.

Minimum education and experience requirements: high school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Some positions may require special licenses or certification. Optional guidelines: experience in the trade(s) areas related to the area of assignment may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Demonstrated experience in plumbing construction preferred.

Required licenses/certifications:
Must possess a valid NC Driver's License or have the ability to obtain one prior to hire date.

Position/schedule requirements:
Clinic – UNCH or ACC, evening work occasionally, exposure to blood borne pathogens, exposure to hazardous materials, laboratory, night work occasionally, non-healthcare TB exposure, on-call occasionally, overtime occasionally, respirator, general use, valid NC Driver's License, weekend work occasionally.
