UNC School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible open-rank, fixed term Psychiatrist to provide clinical care to adults with serious mental illness. This position will work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary academic medical center environment, where the successful candidate will have opportunities to provide patient care, teach, and engage in research.
The primary practice location for this position is the UNC STEP Clinic in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The psychiatrist will provide both in-person and virtual care to adults with serious mental illness as part of UNC’s Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health (CECMH). CECMH is dedicated to promoting recovery and improving quality of life for individuals with mental illness through innovative clinical services, education, community partnerships, and research.
