Backend Developer
The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom software applications, workflow automations, integrations, microservices, and internal tools that support Eventus Whole Health's clinical, operational, and corporate functions. This role partners closely with the Director of Intelligent Systems Solutions to translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions. The position supports operational effectiveness across more than 1,250 healthcare facilities through software development, automation, data visibility, cloud technologies, and system integrations.
This role operates within an AI-enabled development environment and utilizes AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and analysis while maintaining strong engineering oversight
Education, Licensure and Certifications, Related Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience with Python or another modern programming language and using AI-assisted development platforms such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude code or similar tools
- Relevant technical certifications in Azure, AWS, software development, cloud technologies, or related disciplines are preferred but not required.
