The selected candidates will assist in all facets of Division I Athletic event management, including preparation and facilitation for regular and post‑season Olympic Sports events and home football and Men’s Basketball games. Additionally, candidates will manage crowds, work with visiting teams/officials, manage scoreboards, scan tickets, operate public address, and perform other duties as assigned, requiring a high level of service and reliability.
Candidates must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and operate effectively in inclement weather.
- Understanding of D1 Athletic policies and protocols
- Ability to be calm and personable under pressure
- Experience with event management and designing event‑related materials
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and communicate effectively
- AED, First Aid/CPR experience
- Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position(s) involve working in inclement weather and standing for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
