The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Forklift Engineer to join a well-established business maintaining its own fleet of specialist forklifts.
This is a workshop-based role where you'll take ownership of the maintenance, servicing and repair of a modern fleet, working closely with the operations team to ensure maximum uptime across the business.
The Role- Service, repair and maintain a fleet of side loader forklifts
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe and reliable standard
- Manage workshop stock and order replacement parts when required
- Complete maintenance records accurately
- Liaise with operational teams to minimise downtime
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
