This is a full-time hourly position that works primarily duringfirstshift (Mon-Thu6am-5pm) but may berequiredto adjust working hours as needed to adequately lead the team and meet production demands.
CNC Setup Lead Manufacturing Support team member Essential Job Functions- Set up andoperateall types of CNC lathes, including single turret, twin turret, with and without live tooling
- Ensure process isoperatingat peak efficiency and quality
- Follows set-upscheduleprovidedby team leader
- Maintain quality system by following
ISO standard practices - Support operators in making tooling offsets
- Setupof new and existing job tooling andWork-holding following setup sheet
- Indicate Vises/Fixtures/bore soft jaws proficiently
- Load programs
- Run 1 st article pieceand perform 1 st piece inspection
- Stage area for production
- On the job training
- Ability to make parts production ready
- Troubleshooting complex problems
- Leads/assistin improvement projects and problem-solving activities
- Participate in department responses to corrective actions, and preventative actions
- Perform orfacilitateroutine safety, quality, and work skills training
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- This position requiresuseof information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
- This position requires the successful candidate to not be a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g).
- 2-4years CNC Machining experience
- Experience practicing Lean Manufacturing principles
- Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes used in themachiningdepartment
- Experience with programming CNC lathes manually and using CAM software (Master
CAM preferred) a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform well in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to change
- Career-minded with eagerness to grow with the company
- Support and embody company vision and values
- Work is performed on a10 acre,6 campus building;potentialneedto move between buildings. Musthave physical ability to walk betweenbuildingsas necessary.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to typical machinery and equipment.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Requires the ability to lift(75lbs)
- Standing for extended periods and moving around the production floor frequently.
