OR RN PRN - Chardon ASC

Overview

The Chardon Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Chardon, Ohio. Established in 2010, it provides services in ocular-plastics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and podiatry. The Registered Nurse will deliver patient-centered care, support the operating room team, and uphold the facility’s standards.

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Achieve desired patient outcomes aligning with the facility’s mission.
• Assist in operating‑room organization and daily function per federal, state, and Joint Commission regulations.
• Support Surgical Technologists and Physicians in direct patient care.
• Maintain high safety standards for patients and staff.
• Act as patient liaison for the care rendered.
• Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies, and equipment needs; report to Materials Management Coordinator.
• Serve as a role model and leader for Technologists and Nursing Assistants.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS preferred; PALS preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years perioperative nursing experience (preferred).

Salary: USD $32.12 per hour (USD $39.42 per hour).
