Process Engineer

Description

Leads API process programs - Oversees multi‑step, multi‑year cGMP manufacturing development from pilot to commercialization. Designs full API processes - Performs scale‑up calculations, selects equipment, defines operating parameters, and plans production. Conducts process reviews - Ensures operability, safety, and quality across all stages. Serves as SME - Interfaces with internal leadership and external clients to solve complex technical issues. Mentors junior staff - Guides development of engineers and scientists.

Drives process improvements - Uses ideation, modeling, and data analysis to optimize yield, cycle time, and quality. Leads quality investigations - Manages complex investigations and implements CAPA actions. Manages documentation - Coordinates creation of PFDs, batch records, validation protocols, SOPs, and campaign reports.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in chemical development, chemical manufacturing, chemical engineering design, or the equivalent. Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, particularly pharmaceutical, is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
