Title: Analytical Laboratory Technician
Pay Rate: $20 - $22.50/hr.

Location: Charles City, IA 50616
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Analytical Laboratory Technician to work on-site with our client, the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Daily testing of samples received from production.
- Timely completion of test to meet the established testing time.
- Following GMP documentation guidelines.
- Basic problem-solving skills and demonstrate trouble shooting ability.
- Contribute to the teams productivity goals.
- The colleague should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.
- Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply
- Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines
- Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation and facility
- Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work
- Understanding of how to use pipettes
- Preparation of media and reagents
- Understanding of dilution schemes
- Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds
- BA/BS in Science related field or AA plus one year experience
