Manufacturing Technician - Vaccine Production | 1st Shift

Zoetis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support biologics manufacturing at our Charles City facility. In this role, you will work in a regulated cleanroom environment producing products that help protect the health of animals around the world. Candidates from manufacturing, food production, laboratory operations, medical device manufacturing, biotechnology, agriculture, and other production environments are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll DoAs part of the Tissue Culture Origin (TCO) team, you’ll be supporting the early stages of vaccine manufacturing. - Perform aseptic processing activities while following cleanroom procedures and contamination control practices.
- Execute manufacturing tasks in accordance with cGMPs, batch records, manufacturing directions, and SOPs.
- Set up, operate, monitor, and tear down production equipment used during manufacturing operations.
- Complete cGMP documentation accurately and maintain required department records.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for production activities.
- Follow site safety, quality, and financial procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support daily manufacturing goals.
- Wear required cleanroom PPE, including Tyvek gowns and respiratory protection when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work successfully in a team environment.

- Quality‑controlled production environments
- Experience working in GMP, cleanroom, or other regulated environments.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic science, mathematical and computer skills.
- Leadership, training, or mentoring experience.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including cleanroom garments (Tyvek gown) and respirators when required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, grip, and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Must be able to work in an environment at varying temperatures.
- Must be able to work 40 hours scheduled, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
