Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, validate, and implement analytical testing methodologies for raw materials, production intermediates, and finished products.
- Perform analytical chemistry assays using both new and existing methodologies.
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including:
- HPLC
- GC
- GC/MS
- FTIR
- Titrators
- Set up and optimize analytical methods for compound identification, purity, and potency testing.
- Write technical reports documenting analytical methods, validation activities, and results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and DEA regulations.
- Transfer validated analytical methods to Quality Control (QC) and Process Support Group departments.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve analytical and technical issues within:
- Analytical Development
- Chemical Development
- Process Support
- Quality Control
- Conduct analytical testing to support the Chemical Development Department.
- Coordinate and manage off-site testing activities as required.
- Qualify and maintain reference materials.
