. In this vital role, you will serve as the administrative anchor for our environmental safety programs, ensuring local asbestos, demolition, and renovation projects comply with public health standards.

What You’ll Do

• ESS System Management: Log into the Electronic Submission System (ESS) to review, approve, or send for correction all new and revised asbestos, demolition, and renovation notifications.
• Payment & Database Processing: Verify that accurate payments have been received for all applicable notifications and enter comprehensive project data into the asbestos database, ensuring all relevant files are attached to their respective entries.
• Project Follow-Up: Monitor and resolve pending actions by actively following up on projects flagged with "approval pending" or "waiting on payment" in the database.
• Compliance & Inspection Data Entry: Assist with inputting licensing inspections, AHERA inspections, and training documentation into the asbestos database to maintain updated regulatory records.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall team operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.

AND

Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in paraprofessional or clerical office support work related to the specialty area.

OR

Substitution: Any combination of experience as described above and successful completion of coursework from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at a rate of thirty (30) semester hours for every one (1) year of the required experience.
