Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities- Assistin the management of the employee accesssystemincluding generating photo identification for employees and the racing personnel in compliance with the West Virginia Racing Commission.
- Maintainstrailerparkingpermitissuance and logsfor racing.
- Electronic fingerprinting for the new owners, trainers, orhorsemen.
- Answers incoming calls and returnsall messagesin a timely manner.
- Assistswithmaintainingoffice supplies.
- Other dutiesasassigned.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must bewelladept with Windows, Word, Excel,Outlook and Access computer applications
Language Skills
Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data,establishfactsand draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral,diagramor schedule form,
Certificates,Licenses, Registrations
Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission every year of employment.
Qualifications
Must be a minimum of18years of age.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Excel,Outlook and Access.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.
Speaks clearly and politely; responds well to questions;and,contributes to building a positive team spirit.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well withthe customer sand employees.
Mustbe diplomatic and tactful.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
