Position OverviewJoin the 2026 Vaccination Initiative as a Registered Nurse providing essential immunization services in a patient‑facing retail healthcare setting. This position focuses on administering a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID‑19, MMR, and other routine immunizations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
Assignment DatesApproximately 8/23/2026 – 12/31/2026 (varies by location)
Job TypeTemporary with opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs.
ScheduleMonday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Candidates must be available during these operating times and flexible with work hours as needed.
Responsibilities- Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID‑19, MMR, and other recommended immunizations.
- Safely administer medications while following established clinical protocols.
- Deliver exceptional patient care with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Adapt to changing priorities within a fast‑paced community healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to provide quality patient care.
- Motivate and support team members while contributing to a positive, patient‑focused work environment.
- Utilize strong clinical judgment and nursing skills throughout patient interactions.
- Promote healthy patient outcomes through quality vaccination services.
- Full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum one (1) year of related nursing experience, including immunizations and direct patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and vaccine administration.
- Ability and willingness to administer all required vaccines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Previous immunization or community healthcare experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working in an onsite, patient‑facing environment.
