Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in bookkeeping and financial management to support the smooth operation of our hospitality business.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

- Utilize Quick Books to maintain financial records and create detailed reports.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.

- Prepare cash flow statements and manage cash flow to support business operations.

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Generate and analyze financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

- Track and record all business expenses, income, and other financial activities.

- Collaborate with management to review budgets and financial projections.

- Ensure timely preparation of financial documents for audits and tax filings.

- Provide guidance and support for financial queries from management and staff. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and preparing cash flow statements.

- Familiarity with standard accounting practices and regulations.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams.
