Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join a growing team in Charleston, South Carolina. This contract-to-permanent position offers a flexible part-time schedule of approximately 25 to 30 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing core accounting activities independently. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payables and receivables, and using Quick Books Online to keep daily transactions organized and up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records in Quick Books Online.
• Process vendor invoices, track outgoing payments, and keep accounts payable records current.
• Monitor incoming payments, apply customer receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances as part of accounts receivable support.
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Review financial entries for accuracy and consistency, making corrections when needed to support reliable reporting.
• Organize accounting documentation and maintain orderly records for easy reference and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal team members to support accounting operations for an HVAC-related business environment.
