A leading Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team at the manufacturing facility near Anderson, SC. This position will play a key role in supporting plant leadership through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and business decision support.
The Controller will act as a strategic business partner to operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with corporate and accounting standards
.Key Responsibiliti
- es Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis and recommendations that support business decision
- s.Lead plant-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activitie
- s.Analyze manufacturing performance, costs, productivity, and profitabilit
- y.Prepare monthly variance analyses, including production output, material usage, scrap, labor, and operational cost
- s.Support monthly and annual financial closing activitie
- s.Develop contribution margin, profitability, and financial simulation analyse
- s.Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencie
- s.Monitor financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve result
- s.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and US GAAP requirement
- s.Support the continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting and controlling processe
- s.Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for management as neede
Qualificati
- ons Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fie
- ld.3+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounti
- ng.
Automotive manufacturing experience requir - ed.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analys - is.
Strong understanding of plant operations, production costs, and manufacturing KP - Is.Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control process

Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial systems and reporting too - ls.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skil - ls.
Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership tea - ms.
