Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Description

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 3+ years of experience who is looking to expand their responsibilities and build a long-term career in corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA, have a strong understanding of GAAP, and possess experience working in a large manufacturing environment or public accounting.

• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with inventory accounting and analysis.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and disclosures.
• Participate in audits and provide supporting documentation and analysis.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Learn and develop expertise in accounting processes, systems, and close procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the accounting function.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in either:
• Public Accounting, or
• A large manufacturing or industrial organization.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience independently owning accounting processes (not solely supporting or assisting).
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• ERP experience required;
  Oracle preferred.
• Experience with Black Line, Planful, or similar financial systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
