Corporate Financial Controller

We are running a confidential search for a long-time client and well-established company tied to the construction industry located in the greater Charleston area. This is a newly created role due to growth and a strong career growth opportunity. Job stability and longevity guaranteed.

The CFO is looking for a strong number 2 to take over all of the day-to-day financial accounting duties (month-end close, financial statement prep & reporting, G/L work) as well as supervise, mentor, and develop the staff below them who handle all of AP, AR, Recs, etc.

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR CFOs. THIS IS A TRUE ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER ROLE

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-your-hands-dirty, lead-by-example, no-task-is-too-small corporate financial controller position with a booming business poised for tremendous growth.

We are looking for established financial controllers, or assistant controllers, accounting managers, or strong senior accountants ready to make the jump. We would also love to talk to auditors with relevant industry experience.

Experience with an industry that has some type of cost accounting, job costing, and/or WIP accounting, etc is a plus
