Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CPA to manage a portfolio of individual and business clients while providing tax preparation, review, planning, accounting oversight, and advisory services. This role requires strong technical expertise, sound professional judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly. The ideal candidate will work independently while remaining connected to firm leadership and the broader team.

They will take ownership of client relationships, review the work of other accounting professionals, identify planning opportunities, and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule. Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, fiduciaries, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as a dependable year-round point of contact.
  • Provide proactive tax planning and practical recommendations to individuals and business owners.
  • Review financial statements, work papers, general ledgers, and supporting documentation.
  • Research tax matters and communicate findings clearly to clients and team members.
  • Identify tax risks, planning opportunities, and additional client needs.
  • Review the work of staff and provide constructive guidance.
  • Coordinate with the management team to keep assignments moving efficiently.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements, quality control, and continued firm growth.
