Cost Analyst

A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking a Cost Analyst / Inventory Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working closely with manufacturing operations and wants to build deeper expertise in cost and inventory accounting.

The Cost Analyst / Inventory Accountant will support inventory accounting, cost analysis, financial reporting, and manufacturing operations. This individual will work closely with Operations and Finance to analyze costs, identify variances, maintain accurate inventory records, and support process improvements.

• 1–3 years of manufacturing cost accounting, cost analysis, or operations/supply chain finance experience
• Manufacturing or production environment experience required
• inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
• SAP experience preferred

• Analyze inventory adjustments and discrepancies
• Support standard costing and variance analysis
• Prepare cost-driver reporting and financial analysis
• Support inventory audits and physical inventory activities
• Provide expense and financial reporting
• Partner with Operations on cost savings and process improvements
• Support manufacturing and production-floor activities
• Monitor inventory flow and help ensure accurate and timely accounting
