Business Internship
The Talent Acquisition Aide will assist with coordination of the agency-wide talent acquisition plan for full-time, part-time, volunteers and interns in alignment with the agency’s values. This aide will represent CCPRC at internal and external business meetings, functions and events to build relationships essential to attracting and retaining a skilled and diverse work force. This aide will also assist with communications and advertisements for open positions through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
This position requires some weekend, evening, and holiday work. Up to 20 hours per week.
- Supports recruitment efforts by representing the organization at internal and external hiring events, engaging with prospective candidates, and helping promote employer branding initiatives.
- Establishes and maintains good relationships with candidates, staff, volunteers, and outside agencies.
- Provides clerical support to the HR division and employees regarding human resources related activities.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High school Diploma or GED required, and two years administrative or clerical work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computers and software in Windows environment (Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), copy machines, telephone systems, and other office equipment.
- Ability to speak effectively to groups and convey important information about employment with CCPRC.
- Ability to handle a variety of duties, situations, and changes in a positive manner with the utmost commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to deescalate conflict.
- Knowledge of planning and organizing projects in a timely manner or with short notice.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with several employees and assist where necessary.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Must pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
- Shall possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; bend body downward and forward, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear; and push, pull and/or lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions and with the need to deal with a great diversity of people.
Performs routine duties with moderate supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
