This position requires high levels of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive student records. Exceptional attention to detail is essential for evaluating applicants’ academic preparation to ensure well-informed admission decisions. Because institutional focus and workflow shift throughout the dynamic academic year, the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong multitasking skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Additionally, written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively advise prospective students on admission pathways to the college.

The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of college admissions, with specialized expertise in the transfer admission process. The candidate filling this position will not be eligible for benefits.

Assist the Transfer Admissions team with reviewing application materials for transfer students. This position involves evaluating applications for admission and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide pre-transfer advising services to prospective transfer students. Maintain timely communication with external contacts and schedule regular advising appointments with a high level of customer service.

Coordinate activity between the Office of Admissions, the Registrar’s Office, and the Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs to facilitate a seamless transfer experience from initial inquiry through matriculation. Additionally, manage and execute special projects assigned by the Associate Director of Transfer Admissions and senior leadership.
