Office Admin

Vaco Staffing is looking for an admin/clerical associate for a Temp-to-Hire role at a clients distribution center. This is an in office role, The days are Monday - Saturday with every Wednesday off. 8am - 5pm. Pay is $18/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Driver & Technician Support: Act as the first responder for drivers calling from the field. Assist with gate codes, customer contact details, and troubleshooting delivery location issues.
• Active Route Monitoring: Use internal tracking systems to monitor real-time delivery progress. Escalate potential delays to the Office Administrator or Warehouse Manager immediately.
• Call Handling: Manage high-volume incoming calls from customers inquiring about their delivery windows or requesting status updates.
• System Input: Accurately enter delivery completion notes, not-at-home statuses, and return details into the logistics management system.
• Administrative Processing: assist with sorting, scanning, and filing the previous day s Bill of Lading (BOL) paperwork and manifests to ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1 year in an office or customer service environment; background in retail, logistics, or a call center is helpful.
• Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to stay calm when assisting drivers in high-stress situations.
• Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn proprietary delivery and tracking software.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to catch errors in shipping documents and accurately transcribe verbal updates into digital systems.

Schedule & Environment

• Shift: Typically Monday-Friday, though occasional Saturday coverage may be required to support peak delivery times.
