We are seeking passionate, dedicated professionals to help us continue to achieve our goals. We’re currently seeking a Part-Time Office Coordinator to support our Charleston, SC office and help keep our day-to-day operations organized, efficient, and welcoming for our employees and guests.
The Part-Time Office Coordinator should have a strong background in office administration, with demonstrated experience supporting day-to-day office operations and maintaining an organized, welcoming workplace. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to effectively manage office supplies and facilities, support employee onboarding and company events, coordinate administrative needs, and provide reliable support across a variety of office functions.
The schedule for this part-time role offers flexibility and may include 3–4 half days or 2–3 full days per week. Specific scheduling needs and preferences will be discussed throughout the interview process.
- Maintain and replenish kitchen, breakroom, restroom, and general office supplies.
- Manage ordering and inventory of office supplies, refreshments, company swag, marketing materials, safety supplies, event supplies, seasonal décor, and project signage.
- Maintain organized inventory within office storage areas and the company’s off-site storage unit.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing work spaces, coordinating building access/key fobs, and assembling welcome materials.
- Maintain the office calendar, including PTO, company events, meetings, and holidays.
- Coordinate building maintenance and facility needs in partnership with the property manager.
- Support company meetings and events, including ordering meals, coordinating supplies, assisting with setup and breakdown, and other event logistics.
- Support the party planning committee with employee events and engagement initiatives.
- Support marketing with large print jobs, mailings, promotional materials, and other projects as needed.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, deliveries, shipments, and local pickups.
- Assist with miscellaneous invoicing and other administrative tasks.
- Coordinate cleaning and upkeep of reusable company event materials and supplies.
- Provide administrative support for the Edifice Elevates program.
- Provide general office support and assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in office administration, office management, administrative support, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees across the organization.
- Comfortable coordinating vendors, deliveries, office supplies, events, and general facility needs.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move office, event, or supply materials as needed.
