Job Summary
We are seeking a polished and customer-focused Front Desk Admin for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the West Ashley area of Charleston, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in administration, reception, clerical support, or healthcare offices who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating a positive experience for every visitor. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in welcoming guests, answering phones, managing documentation, and keeping daily office operations running smoothly.

- Process, organize, and maintain patient paperwork, forms, and documentation accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls appropriately, and provide helpful information when possible.
- Assist members of the public at the front service window with professionalism and courtesy.
- Enter, update, and verify information in applicable systems with strong attention to detail.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to keep front office operations running smoothly.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow proper documentation procedures.
- Pay: $17.00 per hour.
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch. - Hours:
37.5 hours per week. - Location:
Charleston, SC 29414, West Ashley area.
- 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, front desk, reception, or similar office experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with the public in person and over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing paperwork and entering information.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Professional demeanor, reliable attendance, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling patient-related information.
- Must be able to complete a background check and 10-panel drug screen.
- Previous healthcare office, patient services, medical front desk, or records processing experience.
- Experience handling confidential information in an office or customer service setting.
- Prior experience using office software, phone systems, or data entry platforms.
