Job Summary:
As a member of the Integrated Supply Chain Team, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Management Director for Elbit Systems of America and be assigned to lead critical suppliers and affiliates through multiple program phases, including campaigns, proposals, and development. In this highly visible role, you will have full accountability to lead and manage assigned subcontractors tasked with building international and US Defense end items and/or assemblies as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
You will draw from effective program/subcontract management experience to ensure subcontractor execution in alignment with program objectives. You will use your strong leadership and collaborative skills, business acumen, and technical aptitude in developing solid working relationships with IPTs and Program Managers.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Management of overall performance of Subcontractor Partners (including Elbit Systems Ltd. Affiliates) to support the achievement of contract technical, schedule, quality, and financial performance objectives.
- Establish, maintain, and foster One Company relationships and communications between affiliate staff and ESA counterparts.
- Earn & maintain confidence & influence of ESA program managers to become a trusted business partner.
- Coordinating Production Program and Development Program activities among ESA Supply Chain Managers, Integrated Product Team/Program Leads, and Engineering as required.
- Ensuring quick resolution of technical & programmatic issues by leveraging & integrating the capabilities of the entire organization.
- Developing and executing negotiation strategies to achieve maximum savings and performance for ESA across a broad spectrum of specialized suppliers. Negotiating payment terms, contract type, NDAs, and Terms & Conditions.
- Additional Responsibilities Will Include
- Participating in & contributing to Subcontract Management Reviews, technical meetings, subcontractor partner assessments & audits.
- Supporting planning, execution & reporting of material & labor budgets, sales & estimate at completion (EAC).
- Identifying risks and opportunities and creating/driving plans to mitigate and realize them.
- Developing and executing a subcontractor strategy compliant with Small Business Plans on assigned programs.
- Assisting in planning, developing, & executing corporate training & organizational development plan for Subcontracts personnel.
- Being responsible for the completion of the Cost or Price Analysis of applicable proposals
Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or applicable discipline (Advanced degree a plus)
- Writing or administering complex and unique contracts or subcontracts
- Working in cross-functional teams or experience with project/program management
- Developing internal/external/cross-cultural partner relationships
- Risk and Opportunity Management
- Understanding financial information, budgets, program performance, and developing strategies to improve performance in these areas
- Planning and directing activities and resources related to planning and scheduling
- Operating within export/import regulations, FAR/DFARS, DoD procurement guidelines
- Advanced degree in Business
- U.S. Citizenship is required
