Construction Superintendent

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our construction team in Charleston, SC
. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Healthcare and/or Commercial construction who thrives in managing complex, high-quality projects from the field.

Candidates with experience in other construction sectors will be considered,
excluding multi-family
.

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations from start to finish
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to maintain schedule and quality
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific policies
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and field teams
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role
• Proven experience in Healthcare and/or Commercial construction (required)
• Experience in other construction sectors acceptable except Multi-Family
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, means & methods
• Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive schedules
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Charleston, SC

• Healthcare projects involving active facilities or renovations
• Experience with scheduling software and project management tools
