Commercial Construction Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, from conceptual design through final pricing. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure bids are competitive and comprehensive.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop budgets and value-engineering solutions.
• Identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities within project scopes.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Must be able to read and interpret building plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency with estimating software, Redteam Flex and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation is commensurate based on experience. There is an annual performance bonus and full benefits package with health insurance, dental and 401k.
